Features of a Kevlar Body Armor Level IIIA NIJ Certified

A Kevlar Body Armor has six protection levels. These levels Level I, IIA, II, IIIA, III, and IV. Level I is no longer in the market because of failure to meet the minimum safety and protection requirement standards set by the National Institute of Justice. Level I has the lowest protection level while Level IV offers the highest level of protection. Kevlar Body Armor Level IIIA NIJ Certified is one of the most demanded type of body armor because of its features.

Protection – Kevlar Body Armor Level IIIA Certified gives better protection than Levels I to II. For soft body armor, the Kevlar Body Armor Level IIIA Certified gives the highest blunt trauma protection. It has the ability to stop a 9 mm FMJ at 1,400 fps and lower velocity firearms. The Kevlar  Body Armor Level IIIA certified can also stop majority of pistol projectiles and that is commonly encountered.  Moreover, the Kevlar Body Armor Level IIIA Certified can give a multi threat protection to the wearer such as protection from thermal, biological and chemical hazards and also stab and puncture protection.

It has undergone a medical testing to test the wear ability of the armor  so that is will be safe and effective to use. In addition, the Kevlar Body Armor Level IIIA Certified will give the wearer mobility and no interference in its normal activities.

Conceal ability –The Kevlar Body Armor Level IIIA Certified is recommended not only of the protection and comfort that it gives but also for conceal ability. Conceal ability means you can wear a body armor and stay protected at the lowest notice ability. No one will detect that you are using a body armor when you use the Kevlar Body Armor Level IIIA Certified. You can wear it when there is a need to go undercover missions and can be used by the civilians during high risks of dangers.
